To build real wealth and achieve absolute independence, you must drop desire.

The challenge is to create something meaningful without being ruled by your impulses. Build what people will want—before they know they want it.

Desire drives most people, including me. But if you focus on usefulness instead of craving, others will trade their "I owe yous"—i.e., money—but money isn't wealth.

Wealth is what earns money even when you're sleeping. Relationships, People, Systems, Assets, and Knowledge that compound without you.

To create lasting wealth, the aim should be to do so with as few desires as possible, with as few resources as possible, not more.
